The Boulder Junction Community Foundation hosted the 58th Annual Colorama Dinner on Saturday, September 23. The Foundation would like to thank Anne Derber, Grant Herman and the Camp Manito-wish YMCA board for allowing the event to take place in such an historic building in Boulder Junction and for providing help and equipment to make this event possible. Thanks also goes out to Peeplelures for their generous jewelry Silent Auction for the Foundation’s benefit as well as to Dairymen’s for providing all the very delicious appetizers. Both business and individual sponsors and donors helped raise over $10,000 for the Boulder Junction Community Foundation Endowment Fund which helps the Foundation continue to give meaningful grants to enhance Boulder Junction for all.
Lastly, the Foundation extends their sincerest appreciation to all the Colorama Dinner volunteers, service organizations and the 8th Grade Class of North Lakeland School for their continued service at the Colorama Dinner. They did a wonderful job serving food, clearing tables and looking after their customers. In return for their service the kids earn money toward their annual spring class trip. The NLS 8th graders along with their parents and advisors have been a part of the dinner for many years.
